There is a big list of players that Arsene Wenger is believed to be interested in signing and adding to the Arsenal team but only a few of them have a real possibility of joining the Emirates Stadium. One of the latest performers that has attracted the attention of the French manager is Borussia Dortmund’s Mats Hummels.
Wenger attended the Annual General Meeting of Arsenal which was held a few days ago, in this event there were a lot of questions that were being asked in relation to the recent transfers that has been made and even though Arsene Wenger has recently been spending more money in players in comparison to a few years ago, some fans believe that there still is something more that can be done in order to further help the club and increase their chances of winning major trophies.
With the injuries appearing to be non-stop and the treatment room continue being piled up with more players trying to recover, the January transfer window could be another busy time for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal.
“I believe we have done remarkably well on the transfer market. I agree we could have bought one more player, but we did not find. We will try to rectify that, because we are a bit short with the injuries we have defensively, and overall I think we will rectify that in the transfer market in January.” Wenger said.
The recent transfer activities of Arsenal have indeed been splendid for Arsenal but the squad still has not managed to find their form in the current season of the Premier League as they are located in the middle section of the standings and an injection of new players could be what the team at the Emirates Stadium need to kick start their season and compete against the best teams that top tier English League has to offer.
